PowerHaus Consultancy were instructed by Max Barney Estates to promote the redevelopment of offices at 18-28 Tabernacle Street, London (LB Islington) from pre-application stage though to an application for full planning permission.

PowerHaus arranged and undertook consultation with planning officers at Islington Council in addition to arranging and attending public consultation events for local residents and business owners.

Pre-application advice received from planning officers recommended a new application being made rather than as consideration as a Section 73 application. Therefore, PowerHaus advised on the submission of a new full application to establish

An application for full planning permission was subsequently submitted for the demolition of the existing building and the erection of a new building of 6 storeys including the retention of the existing basement, to provide 9,221 sqm for use as B1(a) offices (ref: P2018/0523/FUL ). Permission was granted September 2018.
